The increasing environmental concerns related to plastic usage have prompted the exploration of sustainable alternatives. One such alternative is bamboo, a rapidly renewable resource with numerous benefits over plastic. While bamboo has long been used in certain industries (e.g., construction and furniture), its potential as a substitute for plastic in everyday products has only recently gained attention. This paper explores the historical use of plastic, the current shift towards bamboo products, and their potential future in mitigating environmental issues. The literature review identifies gaps in consumer acceptance and technological advancements, while the research methodology incorporates surveys and data analysis to gauge consumer behavior. The findings suggest that bamboo products offer a promising alternative to plastic, though challenges remain in their widespread adoption.
